This is Alastair Hoyne’s personal website, covering his publications, podcast, commentary, speaking and professional interests. For website enquiries, contact info@alastairhoyne.com. Information and separate service agreements

Content is provided for general information and education. It is not personalised financial, investment, mortgage, pension, tax, legal or valuation advice. Consider the Website Disclaimer before relying on examples or commentary.

Submitting an enquiry, a proposed podcast appearance or a speaking invitation does not create a service contract or guarantee acceptance. Agreed engagements, business services and content licences have separate terms. Book purchases from Amazon or another retailer are governed by that retailer’s terms and applicable consumer rights.

Fair use of the website

You may browse the website and use its publicly available material for personal reference, subject to copyright, trade mark rights and applicable law. Do not disrupt the website, introduce malicious code, attempt unauthorised access, impersonate another person, misrepresent an affiliation or use it to transmit unlawful or abusive material.

Intellectual property

The FINANZE® word mark, IT’S PERSONAL.® word mark and FINANZE IT’S PERSONAL.® logo mark are Finanze Group brands. ALASTAIR HOYNE® is a registered word mark. The Finanze Framework™ and The Property Escalator™ are used as trade marks. Original content and confidential know-how are also subject to applicable rights.

Our Intellectual Property notice explains ownership, book copyright, custom strategies, permitted quotation, licensing and restrictions. No blanket monopoly is claimed over generic property techniques, public facts or independently developed ideas. Nothing here removes statutory exceptions or permissions already granted under a valid licence.

Submissions and permissions

Only submit information you are entitled to share. Avoid disclosing confidential third-party information through a general form. Sending a message, guest proposal or photograph does not transfer ownership to us or authorise public use of your name, image or recording. Any recording, publication, quotation permission or agreed licence is addressed separately where needed.

Links and third-party services

External websites, retailers and social or media platforms have their own terms and privacy notices. We do not control their content or availability. A link does not mean endorsement of everything on that site. Consent choices for embedded services are explained in the Cookie Policy.

Accuracy and availability

We take reasonable care with content but markets, law, rates and service availability change. Material may contain errors or become outdated. We may correct, update or remove content and suspend parts of the website for maintenance or security. Historical commentary is not necessarily a statement of current terms.

Responsibility and your legal rights

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Nothing removes statutory consumer rights.

Subject to those protections and applicable law, we do not accept responsibility for losses caused by treating general educational content as personalised professional advice. If you use this website for business purposes, we exclude liability for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profits, business opportunity or goodwill to the extent permitted by law. This does not override duties under a separate service agreement.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights you have to bring proceedings in your home jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, applicable mandatory protections remain unaffected.
